Chief Deputy Roy Martin reports that the Boone County Sheriff's Department is investigating a camper trailer fire that was reported at 8:50 am this morning on Sunset Drive in Boone County. The Capps-Batavia Fire Department responded to the call and discovered a female, identified as 33 year old Catherine Waters, deceased inside along with her two dogs. Officers believe that Waters attempted to get out of the camper, but was succumbed by the smoke and fire that originated from inside the trailer. Evidence suggests that the fire was accidental, but the body will be submitted to the Arkansas State Medical Examiners for analysis with the case remaining under investigation.
