On December 9, 2020 around 3:45 p.m., the Boone County 911 Center received a phone call of a missing 81 year old man by the name of Akira Asaumi in the 7 South area. Mr. Asaumi is Japanese and speaks very little English. He was last seen wearing a brown ball cap, brown jacket, blue jeans and a dark colored shirt. He was last seen walking northbound toward Harrison. If anyone has seen him or has information on his whereabouts please call the Boone County Sheriff's Office at 870-741-8404.

We have reason to believe that Mr. Asaumi is attempting to go back to Las Vegas.
