10/09/2020

Boone County Sheriff Tim Roberson reports his Investigators along with the help of the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force, Arkansas Community Correction Agents and the Harrison Police Department Special Operation Team has arrested 2 males in connection with a string of burglaries.

Investigators were supplied with a picture taken from a game camera of 31 year old Lakota Williams on the property of a residence that had been broken into several times over the course of 4 months.  Sheriff Roberson stated the house was full of personal effects but no one lived at the residence.  Investigation led Investigators to a residence in Everton where Williams was living and some of the stolen property was located.  Property located there led Investigators to a residence on North Spring Road in Harrison where more stolen property was located.  Then finally information from that residence led Investigators to a residence on Windsor Drive in Harrison, 40 year old Jerod Matthew Smith's residence, where the remainder of the stolen property was located along with several other stolen items from different burglaries from around Boone and Marion County.  Also located in the residence on Windsor Drive was Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Heroin, LSD and Mushrooms along with currency which is believed to be involved in drug trafficking.

Sheriff Roberson wants to thank everyone for the hard work involved with this case and is proud that his agency and the area law enforcement agencies are working together to recover stolen property and taking drugs off the streets.
