On July 18th, 2020, the Boone County Sheriff's Office was notified by Carroll County Dispatch that Green Forest Police Department along with Deputies from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office were in pursuit of a vehicle coming into Boone County. 

Boone County Deputies joined the pursuit and it led all three agencies into Missouri where Taney County Sheriff's Office got involved.  The pursuit continued into Hollister, Missouri and then back into Arkansas.  The pursuit was ended on Highway 412 near Hacker Lane when a Boone County Deputy performed a TVI (Tactical Vehicle Interception) on the vehicle.  The suspect, later identified as Joshua D. Tatum, 23 year old male from Green Forest, exited the vehicle and started fleeing on foot.  After a short foot pursuit Tatum was placed into custody.

Tatum faces charges of Felony Fleeing, Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Tatum is currently being held at the Boone County Sheriff's Office on a $15,000.00 bond.
