On 02/09/2019 at approximately 1:45pm the Sheriff's Office received a call from Boone County Search and Rescue that a body had been discovered along Crooked Creek near the Lost Spur Ranch. Sheriff Mike Moore and Investigators from the Boone County Sheriff's Office and the Harrison Police Department responded to this call. The Boone County Coroner's office took possession of the body which was later transferred to the Arkansas State Crime Lab. On 02/12/2019 at approximately 10am the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the female body recovered near Lost Spur was that of Amy Villines. The Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the identity through dental records which were provided by the family. At this time there is no additional information. This case is still being investigated as an accidental flood disaster. Completion of the investigation is pending the full autopsy reports from the Medical Examiner.
