Death Investigation – 01/31/2019

Sheriff Mike Moore reports that his office is assisting the Diamond City Police in a death investigation involving 58 year old Paul Veasman of Diamond City.  The Diamond City Police began the investigation as a missing persons case.  Family and friends of Veasman reported at approximately 5:30PM on 01/30/2019 that Veasman could not be located.  On 01/31/2019 at approximately 9AM the Diamond City Police reported that Veasman had been found deceased near the residence.  The Boone County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene to assist in the investigation.  The circumstances surrounding the death is currently being investigated in which the body is being submitted to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.  At this time no foul play is being suspected however the case is still under investigation.
