Tamrah Napier

Port Keough

Tristan Jeffries

Perry Gatlin

On 06/07/2016 the Boone County Sheriff’s Department initiated an investigation involving a number of counterfeit bills that were being passed at local businesses in the area.  Working with the US Secret Service, 39 year old Perry Joe Gatlin from Alpena was arrested in Boone County in connection to the investigation.  Gatlin who was currently on probation was found to be in possession of a number of counterfeit bills that could be linked to one of the businesses involved.  Gatlin was charged for felony forgery for possessing the counterfeit money and is currently being held on a cash only bond.

The surveillance footage obtained during the investigation did not connect Gatlin as the primary offenders in the case.  A police bulletin containing surveillance images of three suspects was disseminated to area law enforcement agencies in Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri in which 43 year old, Tristan John Jeffries originally from Jasper, MO was identified as one of those suspects.  According to the Secret Service, Jeffries had prior counterfeiting charges in the past.

On 06/15/2016 two Boone County Deputies successfully located Jeffries at a motel in Harrison.  Jeffries along with the other two bulletin suspects identified as 39 year old Corey Allen Partin from Portageville, MO, and 45 year old Port Arthur Keough from Carterville, MO, were arrested.  Accompanying the three counterfeit suspects was 25 year old Tamrah Napier of Harrison.  The four were found to be in possession of over $2,000.00 in counterfeit money.  They are currently being held in the Boone County Jail with charges pending.
