Sheriff Danny Hickman with the Boone County Sheriffs Department reports that the elderly female body recovered from Crooked Creek on Monday has been confirmed by the Arkansas State Medical Examiners as 70 year old, Bessie Maize of Harrison. Maize who resides on E. Washington St. in Harrison was reported by family as being missing since 02/25/2010. The medical examiners office reported that there were no signs of physical trauma to Maize. The manner and cause of death is pending completion of a toxicology report and completion of the investigation. Sheriff Hickman reports that based on the investigation along with the medical examiners findings there are no indications of foul play at this time.
