Sheriff Danny Hickman reports during a traffic stop on Tuesday, February 9th, 2010, Deputy Ryan Watson located approximately ¾ pound of marijuana in a vehicle belonging to Nathan Williams, DOB: 03/01/1983. Also accompanying Willians in the vehicle were, Gregory Freeman, DOB: 04/17/1977 and Joseph Couch, DOB: 02/13/82. The three men placed under arrest and were charged for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana with Intent to Deliver. A large amount of cash along with the 3/4 lb. of marijuana was seized from the suspects at the time of arrest. The three suspects were given bonds of $7,500.00 each. As of late Tuesday night all had posted bond and were released from jail.
The Sheriff states that the investigation continues to determine where the suspects obtained the marijuana.
