Sheriff Danny Hickman reports that as a result of a 4 month long investigation in cooperation with several law enforcement agencies, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Daryl Kolb, DOB: 08/02/1968.  He has been charged with the Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, with a bond amount of $100,000.00.  Officers with the Boone County Sheriffs Office, Harrison Police Department, and the 14^th Judicial District Drug Task Force, conducted the lengthy investigation and used a Confidential Informant to buy large amounts of methamphetamine from Kolb over the course of this investigation.  A warrant for Kolb’s arrest was issued and officers from the Marion County Sheriffs Office located Kolb at his residence.  Kolb was taken into custody and transported to the Boone County Jail for incarceration where he still remains in custody.  The Boone County Sheriffs Office also seized Kolb’s 1998 Chevy Camaro, which was used in the trafficking of the narcotics.
