Sheriff Danny Hickman reports that a male, identified as Bryan Tidmore, 25 years of age, suffered a gun shot wound to the left hand on May 25, 2011.
The Sheriff’s office received a call about 5:30 pm on May 25 reporting a gunshot victim located at 100 S Walnut in Lead Hill. Officers responded to the call to find Tidmore with the wound. Tidmore first told officers that the gun had accidentally discharged and struck him. He quickly changed this story and alleged to officers that a vehicle described as a light brown or gold passenger car stopped on Highway 14 near the businesses there when a passenger put a firearm out the window. Tidmore says he ran towards his house when a shot was fired from this vehicle striking him in the hand.
Tidmore is currently awaiting trial on charges of kidnapping brought by Harrison Police Department. He offered that he believed that the passenger in the described vehicle could have been the victim in this kidnapping case pending against him.
Tidmore was taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for treatment of the gun shot wound.
