Sheriff Danny Hickman reports that on 04/13/2011 a 2003 Ford van was taken from the Red Oak Baptist Church here in Harrison.
The van was not detected as stolen until a phone call from a motorist on I40 observed a suspicious person driving the van on the interstate near Clarksville. Arkansas State Police officer, Trooper Stewart Condley was notified of the stolen vehicle and responded to the call.
Trooper Condley stopped the van identifying 27 year old Lance G. Seaman from the Fayetteville, Arkansas area as the person operating the stolen vehicle. Seaman was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Pope County Sheriffs Department for felony theft charges. After a confession was obtained from Seaman for taking the van, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office released the vehicle to be picked up by the Red Oak Baptist Church.
