Sheriff Danny Hickman reports that on Friday, April 8th, 2011, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office received information from Arkansas State Probation and Parole, of a possible Methamphetamine Laboratory located at 3284 Salmon Lane Apartment #8.
Probation Officers were conducting a home visit at the residence of Dennis Waggoner, 31 of Harrison, and Subrina Handley, 34 of Harrison, when they discovered chemicals used in the manufacture of the illicit drug. Probation and Parole contacted Narcotics Officers from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Harrison Police Department, and the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force, to respond to the scene.
Upon on arriving at the scene investigators located numerous items affiliated with the manufacture of methamphetamine and other items of drug paraphernalia. The numerous lab components and other items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine were seized. Waggoner and Handley were both charged with Criminal Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, Meth. Waggoner’s bond was set at $25,000.00, and a Probation Warrant was issued. Waggoner remained in custody as of Saturday morning. Handley’s bond was set at $15,000.00 and she posted bond and was released from custody, pending her court date.
